  1. Does tixpro.com offer onsite event support or training?

Yes. Tixpro.com offers both online and onsite event support and training. Online support and training is FREE. Onsite support, such as helping validate tickets at event check-in, is available for an additional fee. Fees vary depending on your request.

  1. Does tixpro.com offer event equipment rentals?

Yes. Tixpro.com offers event equipment rentals related to the ticket validation process only (e.g. 2D barcode scanners, laptops, tablets etc…). Fees vary depending on your request.

Registration

  1. How do I register, as an event “Organizer”, on tixpro.com?

Go to tixpro.com, click on the blue button that says “click here to create your account in a few seconds”, then fill out all of the required fields and follow the steps.

However, if you already know all the information required to create an event on tixpro.com (e.g. location, date, time, amount of tickets, click on the orange “START” button, then fill out all of the required fields and follow the steps. This will allow you to register and create an event at the same time.

  1. How do I register, as an event “Participant”, on tixpro.com?

Go to tixpro.com, click on the blue button that says “click here to create your account in a few seconds”, then fill out all of the required fields and follow the steps.

  1. Do I have to provide my “billing address” during the registration process?

Yes. We need your billing address on file so when you make a purchase, either by credit card or PayPal, we can verify your identity. Remember, you must enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit card or PayPal statement.

  1. Do I need to provide my credit card information during the registration process?

No. Account registration on tixpro.com is FREE. However, in order to make a purchase you would need a credit card (VISA / MC) or PayPal account.

  1. Do I have to be specific age (e.g. 21+) to use tixpro.com?

Yes. You must be at least 16+ years old to register for an account on tixpro.com. Also, some events advertised on tixpro.com have their own age requirement to buy tickets or access the event onsite. Please inform yourself of all event requirements before you purchase tickets for an event, as all tickets sales are non-refundable.

  1. What products and services are offered by tixpro.com?

Tixpro.com offers professional, low cost, and high impact ticketing services (email, SMS and thermal printed tickets) to events across Canada and the United States. Tixpro.com also offers both online and onsite training, support, as well as ticket validation equipment rentals.

  1. What fees are charged by tixpro.com?

Free Events

  • FREE, no charge for free events.
  • Email ticket delivery only.
  • Add SMS ticket delivery for $0.25 per ticket.
  • All fees are billed plus applicable taxes.

Paid Events

  • $0.95 + 2.5%* (of the ticket price) per ticket.
  • Email and SMS ticket delivery.
  • *Maximum ticket fee is $9.95 per ticket.
  • All fees are billed plus applicable taxes.

Automated Reminders

  • Send your event attendees a reminder to attend your event twenty four (24) hours before it starts.
  • Send email reminders for FREE, no charge.
  • Send SMS reminders for $0.25 per SMS.
  • All fees are billed plus applicable taxes.

Payment Options

  • Use your own PayPal account to collect payments from ticket buyers.  Five (5) days before your event we will switch your PayPal account for our merchant account (VISA / MC). We do this to ensure on time ticket delivery for buyers, by avoiding any last minute "pending transactions". Remember, PayPal fees are billed separately.
  • Use the tixpro.com merchant account (VISA / MC) to process credit card payments from ticket buyers.
  • We invoice you twenty four (24) hours after your event ends for fees owed and you have ten (10) business days to complete payment via credit card (VISA / MC) or PayPal.
  • All fees are billed plus applicable taxes.

Additional Services

  • Customized e-ticket design for $199.

  1. Is tixpro.com secure?

The tixpro.com website is fully secure for all your transaction needs. No matter the browser that you are using, you can tell that the site is secure by the 'https://" in the URL.

Personal and financial information security is a top priority here at tixpro.com, and we do not store credit card information after a financial transaction on our website. When a credit card number is entered into the system, there is a direct link from the interface to the credit card payment processor.  Each transaction is 100% secure as we use a SSL certificate with 256 bit encryption.

Organizer / Ticket Seller

1.            How do I create an event on tixpro.com?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Create an Event” button (located towards the top left hand side of the screen). Then proceed to follow the steps and fill out all of the required fields.

2.            How do I edit an event on tixpro.com?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Events” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen), and then finally click on the “Edit” button (that is associated with the event your wish to edit). Then proceed to follow the steps and edit any of the displayed fields. Once you have made all of your desired edits, click on the “Save” button (located towards the bottom middle of the screen).

3.            How do I duplicate an event?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Create an Event” button (located towards the top left hand side of the screen). The first field in the event creation process is titled “Copy an Event”, click on the drop down menu and select which event you wish to duplicate. Once you have selected an event from this list, it will auto populate all the required fields. Then all you have to do is change the start and end date / time, as well as any other information you wish to edit. Then proceed to follow the steps.

4.            Can I cancel or delete an event after it’s created?

Yes. However, you can’t directly cancel or delete an event after it’s created on tixpro.com. All you need to do is contact our support department at support@tixpro.com and our team will delete it for you within 24 hours. Our support department is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm EST/EDT. For emergency assistance please call us at 514-316-8779 .

If you would like to delete your event ASAP, after you emailed us your request, you can then make your event “Private” and it won’t be visible to the general events list on tixpro.com.

To make your event private, go on tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Events” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen), and then finally click on the “Edit” button (that is associated with the event your wish to edit). Then proceed to click on the box next to “Make this event private”. Once you have made all of your desired edits, click on the “Save” button (located towards the bottom middle of the screen).

 

5.            How do I add applicable taxes and tax information on to the ticket price?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Create an Event” button (located towards the top left hand side of the screen). Then proceed to follow the steps and fill in all of the required fields. During this process you will find a section titled “Tax Management”, here you will be able to fill out fields associated with taxation (e.g. tax ID / reference numbers, taxation % amount, tax name etc…).

6.            How do I create one or more ticket types?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Create an Event” button (located towards the top left hand side of the screen). Then proceed to follow the steps and fill in all of the required fields. During this process you will find a section titled “Ticket Categories”, here you will be able to create different types of tickets (e.g. ticket name, price, description, taxes / fees included etc…).

7.            How can I change the number of tickets that are on sale for my event?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Events” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen), and then finally click on the “Edit” button (that is associated with the event your wish to edit). Then proceed to follow the steps and edit any of the displayed fields.

During this process you will find a section titled “Ticket Categories”, here you will be able to edit the different types of tickets already created by you for your event (e.g. ticket name, price, description, taxes / fees included, amount of tickets / overbooking etc…). Once you have made all of your desired edits, click on the “Save” button (located towards the bottom middle of the screen).

8.            How do I setup tabled seating on tixpro.com?

During the even creation (or editing) process you will find a section titled “Ticket Categories”, here you will be able to create (or edit) the different types of tickets available for sale for your event (e.g. ticket name, price, description, taxes / fees included, amount of tickets / overbooking etc…). This is the area where you can select “Table Seating”. Once you have made all of your desired edits, click on the “Save” button (located towards the bottom middle of the screen).

9.            How do I make an event private on tixpro.com?

To make your event private, go on tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Events” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen), and then finally click on the “Edit” button (that is associated with the event your wish to edit). Then proceed to click on the box next to “Make this event private”. Once you have made all of your desired edits, click on the “Save” button (located towards the bottom middle of the screen).

10.          How do I add media (logo, images and video) onto my event page?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Events” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen), and then finally click on the “Edit” button (that is associated with the event your wish to edit). This will bring you to the section that allows you to edit the information of an existing event. Scroll down to the “Event Media” section and then proceed to click on “+Add Image” or “+Add Video” buttons and follow the steps and enter in all required fields.

Too add a logo, scroll down the same page to the “Logo” section and then proceed to click on “Browse” button and follow the steps and enter in all required fields.

11.          How do I select a ticket design template? Can I create a custom ticket design?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Events” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen), and then finally click on the “Edit” button (that is associated with the event your wish to edit). This will bring you to the section that allows you to edit the information of an existing event. Scroll down to the “Ticket Template” section and then proceed to browse all the available template designs and click on the template that you would like to use.

Yes, you can have tixpro.com create a custom ticket design template for you for only $199 CAD / USD (depending on your region) + applicable taxes. 12.          How do I accept payments from my ticket buyers?

Payment Options

•             Use your own PayPal account to collect payments from ticket buyers.  Five (5) days before your event we will switch your PayPal account for our merchant account (VISA / MC). We do this to ensure on time ticket delivery for buyers, by avoiding any last minute "pending transactions". Remember, PayPal fees are billed separately.

•             Use the tixpro.com merchant account (VISA / MC) to process credit card payments from ticket buyers. Processing fees are billed in addition to ticketing fees.

•             We invoice you twenty four (24) hours after your event ends for fees owed and you have ten (10) business days to complete payment via credit card (VISA / MC) or PayPal.

•             All fees are billed plus applicable taxes.

13.          When do I get paid by tixpro.com for my ticket sales?

If you have selected to use your own PayPal account to collect payments from ticket buyers, you get paid instantly as transactions occur. However, five (5) days before your event we will switch your PayPal account for our merchant account (VISA / MC). We do this to ensure on time ticket delivery for buyers, by avoiding any last minute "pending transactions". Remember, PayPal fees are billed separately.

The balance for all payments processed using the tixpro.com merchant account (VISA / MC) will be paid within 5 to 10 business days after your event. Tixpro.com will send you the difference between fees owed and payments received via check or PayPal account transfer.

14.          How do I generate reports to keep track of my account activity?

Go to tixpro.com, login to your account and click on the “Events Admin” button (located towards the left hand side of the screen), then click on the “Reports” button that will appear (located towards the bottom left hand side of the screen). This is the section where you will be able to generate reports regarding all aspects of your tixpro.com account (e.g. recent orders, transaction list, refunds tracking, daily reports, event summary, account summary, pending transactions, individual transaction summary, transactions by day, customer details, gate check-in report, totals by payment method, customer reports etc...).
